Report to the PingOne Admin Experience engineering director.
Serve as a senior individual contributor on the PingOne Platform Administration team.
Participate in the full software development life cycle from requirements and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
Design and develop backend services and APIs for PingOne Platform Administration capabilities.
Contribute to AI-related platform tooling, including MCP server capabilities, developer tools, and supporting workflows.
Partner with product managers, QA, UX, and peer engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Help shape technical direction, engineering standards, and system design decisions.
Mentor other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and day-to-day collaboration.
Improve observability, reliability, maintainability, and deployment safety for team-owned services.
Requirements:
5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience as a senior-level individual contributor on Agile teams.
Strong backend software development experience building production-grade services.
3+ years of experience developing Java services.
Experience developing NodeJS services.
Experience with TypeScript is highly desired.
Experience in Identity Management is highly desired.
Experience developing tools and skills for AI models is highly desired.
Experience developing MCP servers is highly desired.
Experience developing SaaS applications.
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud-native development practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production support.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners including product management, QA, UX, and engineering teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.
Benefits:
Compensation range of $110,218–$137,773 in Colorado.
