[Remote] GitHub Platform Admin

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CirrusLabs is seeking a skilled GitHub Platform Admin to manage, optimize, and secure their organization's GitHub ecosystem. The role involves ensuring smooth collaboration for developers, enforcing best practices, and scaling repositories for growing teams.

• Responsibilities
• Administer GitHub Enterprise/Cloud accounts, including user access, permissions, and organization settings
• Set up and maintain repositories, workflows, Actions, and integrations with tools like CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Monitor usage, enforce security policies (e.g., branch protection, secret scanning), and troubleshoot issues
• Automate tasks using GitHub API, webhooks, and scripting (Python/Bash)
• Train teams on GitHub features and migrate repositories as needed
• Generate reports on repository activity and compliance

• Skills
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, Actions, Packages, and security features
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and API usage
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication for cross-team support
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years hands-on experience with GitHub (Enterprise preferred)
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
