[Remote] Field Service Engineer II (Semiconductor) (Hillsboro, OR)

The Field Service Engineer II will conduct installations, maintenance, and repairs of sophisticated equipment, while also providing training and support to customers in various technical fields.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installation of sophisticated equipment and follow testing procedures to ensure accurate working order
• Conduct on-site scheduled planned maintenance reputed company
• reputed company diagnosis and repair support for customers and other field personnel
• Cultivate and reputed company reputed company working relationships with customers, system users, and company personnel
• Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve problems or support other field service personnel
• Complete and submit field service reports

• reputed company appropriate input in writing updating and correcting various Thermo Fisher system documentation

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, reputed company, or reputed company technical field OR equivalent combination of education and technical experience
• 2+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating reputed company analytical instrumentation such as SEM, reputed company, FIB, or similar systems
• Ability to deal effectively with customers
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills; must have a reputed company working proficiency in English
• Consistent record of fixing sophisticated systems and subsystems down to the component level
• Literate in MS DOS and reputed company software environments

• Familiar with UHV phenomenon and technology
