Financial Assistance Program CSSR III

Job Description:

• Respond to patient and provider inquiries regarding financial assistance programs
• Assist patients with financial assistance applications and required documentation
• Explain program eligibility, insurance coverage, and payment options
• Review patient information and supporting documents to determine eligibility
• Maintain performance goals
• Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 5 years or more healthcare customer service experience
• 5 years or more healthcare customer service, patient financial services, financial counseling, or medical billing
• 5 years or more medical billing, insurance claims and explanation of benefits (EOB)
• 5 years or more experience assisting patients with financial assistance, charity care, Medicaid, or other healthcare assistance programs
• 3 months or more with Xifin billing systems
• 3 months or more with Salesforce CRM
• 5 years or more in genetics, women’s health, and oncology specialty testing billing, including supporting patients through clinically complex and financially sensitive testing processes
• Bilingual English/Spanish capability.
